Caterham Beavers - Caterham District Scouts

Beavers

6 - 8 Years

The Scouts are the biggest mixed youth organisation in the UK.

What It Is Like To Be A Beaver

Beaver Scouts are our second youngest section. They usually meet weekly to take part in a wide range of activities including games, crafts, singing, visits and good turns, along with plenty of outdoor activities.

They will also have the opportunity to take part in the fun and excitement of camps and sleepovers. It may be the first time they spend a night away from home so it’s a real adventure for them.

Skills for Life in Caterham & District

Caterham District Scouts nestles between London and Surrey, offering adventure and skills to young people across Caterham, Chaldon, Hamsey Green, Warlingham, Whyteleafe, and Woldingham.

We are do-ers and give-it-a-go-ers. From our youngest Squirrels to our adventurous Explorers, we help young people gain the skills they need to shine bright. Whether it is camping, hiking, kayaking, or simply making new friends, our 11 groups provide an active programme tailored to every ability.

Scouting in our district isn’t just about the outdoors; it is about teamwork, resilience, and community. We facilitate safe, fun environments where young people (aged 4–18) can discover who they are and what they are capable of achieving.
